Ashapura Min. Lt Q3 net profit zooms 1699.02% at Rs 36.88 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 36.88 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 2.05 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 1699.02 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 60.93 per cent at Rs 97.12 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 60.35 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 7.15 per cent to Rs 67.58 crore from Rs 63.07 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 71.26 per cent at Rs 3.92 crore versus (Dec'22 Rs 13.64 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 1182.05 per cent to Rs 29.54 crore as against Rs -2.73 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 773.01 per cent in December quarter.
Interest declined by 38.92 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.28 crore, while Taxation increased by 0.00 per cent at Rs -2.12 crore (Dec'22 Rs 0.00 crore).
